LACON logo — terms of use

The LACON logo has been registered with the German Patent Office since 1992 and is also protected as an EU trademark. It may be used in two colors (green/black) or black and white.

Our customers may use the LACON logo combined with the EU organic logo to label products that may be designated as organic products according to EU Organic Regulation 2018/848.

Use on promotional material

The logo may be used in advertising if the EU organic regulation is complied with. There is no indication of origin. In addition, a message in the same field of vision is required, such as: “Our organic products are certified by LACON GmbH” “Our business is certified by LACON GmbH” “Our farm is certified by LACON GmbH”

Use on products

Certificate holders may also use the logo on labels if the products are covered by the certification and there is a valid contract. When the certification expires, the logo must be removed. LACON may claim compensation in the event of misuse.
